WebCT: Restore a WebCT Backup

In this tutorial we will cover how to upload and restore a WebCT backup file.

1. Log in your WebCT and select course.
Note: If you are not sure on how to do this, look at our Log On tutorial.

2. Click on Control Panel.

3.Click on Manage Course.

4. Click on Upload Backup.

5. Click on Browse

6. Locate the backup file on you computer and click on Open

7. Click on Upload

8. Select the file that you just uploaded, then click on Restore. There are two options for restoring a file. The first replaces your current students with the students in the backup file, the second does not replace your current students.

9. A warning will pop up asking if you would like to proceed, click OK

10. Once the course has been restored, click on Continue
