Creating a group list in Groupwise
1. Begin by opening up groupwise. Then click on address book.
2. Right click on the main book, called Novel Groupwise. This will give you a menu with some options, click on export and export to your desktop.
3. Next, click on File > New book to create a place to put the new listing of the faculty.
4. Give the group an appropriate name, and click OK.
5. Now go to File > Import. Browse to the desktop and find the exported list from before. Select it and click OK.
6. This places the whole Novel Groupwise list into this new folder. Since we do not want all the people, just the associates, we will have to sort according to their title. Right click on the column bar, and go to more columns.
7. In the left pane, scroll down to Title, and select it. Next click Add , then OK.
8. Right click on title on the column bar, and click Sort on Title first. This will sort all of the records in accordance to their title, whether full time, student or other.
9. Now that they are sorted, you can delete the names which are not needed. Select all the entries that you do not want and press delete. Next right click on the right pane, and go to New > group.
10. Give the group an appropriate name, then click Add.
11. Under Look in, go to the group that was just created and select all the names. Right click on them and click To: Then click OK.
12. Now to actually use this new group, click new mail.
13. Then click on Address to pull up all the groups.
14. Then under look in, select Assosciate Faculty updated 12/04 or the newest date.
15. Scroll down to associates 12/04, double click on it. Then click OK.
