How to Update Internet Explorer

 

1.  Follow the link to Microsoft Downloads.

2.  Click on Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP SP2.

 

     

 

3.  Select English and click Continue.

 

     

 

 

 

4.   Click on Download.

 

 

 

 

5.   Click Save when prompted by the download dialog window. 

 

     

 

 

6.   Click on Desktop (1), then click on Save (2).

 

     

 

 

7.   Wait until the download is complete.

 

8.   Double-click on the IE7-WindowsXP-x860-enu.exe file on the desktop.

     

     

 

 

9.   Click on Run.

 

 

 

10. Click Next begin the installation.

 

 

 

11. Click I Accept to accept the License Agreement.

 

     

 

 

12. Click on Validate to Validate your copy of Windows.

13. Click Next.

 

 

 

14.Save and close all open work. Close all other programs. Then click Restart Now.
