Setting Up Internet Explorer for Using FrontPage 2003
In this tutorial we will cover how to set up Internet Explorer to allow you to edit your website in Microsoft FrontPage 2003. After these settings have been changed, see Editing your website with Microsoft FrontPage 2003 to edit your website. FrontPage 2003 must be set as IE's HTML editor and the User Authentication must be set to prompt for login information.
Set up FrontPage 2003 as the HTML editor.
These steps cover how to get the option "Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage" option to appear under the File menu.
1) Select Tools -> Internet Options...

2) Select the Programs tab.

3) Click the arrow next to the HTML editor box.

4) Select Microsoft Office FrontPage.
Note: The list of programs shown depends on the programs installed
on your computer. Your list will vary from the one shown below.
If FrontPage does not appear as an option, you need to install it first.
5) Click OK.

These steps cover how to get FrontPage to prompt you for your login information
after selecting Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage.
Note: If you do not enter your login information,
you will not be able to save your changes: You will only be able to save
a copy on your local hard drive.
1) Select Tools -> Internet Options...

2) Select the Security tab.

3) Click Custom Level...

4) Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this screen to the User Authentication section. Set the Logon option to Prompt for user name and password.
5) Click OK.

6) Click OK.
