Editing your website with Microsoft FrontPage 2003

In this tutorial, we will cover how to make changes to your website using Microsoft FrontPage 2003.  This tutorial only covers
how to open your files for editing, and saving your changes.  If you need help changing your files, see Microsoft Frontpage 2003 Basics.
Note: If you have a local copy of your website saved on your hard drive, see How to publish your website with Microsoft FrontPage 2003.

1) Open Internet Explorer and navigate to your website.

2) Select File -> Edit with Microsoft Office FrontPage.
Note: If this option does not appear, see Setting Up Internet Explorer for Using FrontPage 2003.

3) When prompted, enter the User name and Password for your website and click OK. The User name is usually your first initial followed by your last name with no spaces in-between- the same as your Novell login.  The password is the month and year of your birthday in mmyyyy format.
Note: If FrontPage does not prompt you for log in information, you will not be able to save your changes.  See Setting Up Internet Explorer for Using FrontPage 2003.

4) After making the desired changes to your website, you need to save each file that has been changed.  The circled area below is the list of open files. FrontPage shows which pages need to be saved by placing an asterisk next to the file name in the list of open sites.  In this case, index.html and green.html need to be saved.

5) Check your changes in Internet Explorer.
Note: You may need to refresh the page to see you changes.
