Larry Collins Theodore Roosevelt

Professor Larry Collins has taught history at Collin County Community College for 22 years, Richland College of Dallas for ten years  as associate faculty and McKinney Public Schools for seventeen years. He received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of North Texas.   e-mail lcollins@ccccd.edu

Theodore Roosevelt received his law degree from Harvard, served as lieutenant colonel of the Rough Rider Regiment, governor of New York, and president of the United States from 1901-1909.

Both men have a passion for the study of  history and a commitment to their families.  They support conservation and progressivism.    Theodore Roosevelt said that the President is the "steward of the people."  Larry Collins says "the welfare of the student is very important at Collin County Community College and learning is never ending."
