  • Conflict Resolution: A Win/Win Approach

  • Time Management: A Production Plan
This program teaches effective time-management techniques to help you work more productively. It discusses how to set and prioritize goals, how to organize your office area, how to handle interruptions, and how to communicate more effectively.

  • Stress: You Are in Control II
We can’t necessarily eliminate the stress in our lives, but we can learn how to better manage it! In moderation, stress can actually be a source of motivation. Yet, excessive stress can affect how we approach our jobs, how we accomplish our jobs and how we interact with coworkers.

Common causes of stress that we are all familiar with include time pressures, unrealistic expectations, and lack of goals. Even how we think can affect our stress level. The training program called 'Stress: You’re in Control II' teaches you to take responsibility for and recognize the five warning signs of too much stress: inefficiency, job dissatisfaction, fatigue, sleeps disturbances and escape activity. Viewers also learn techniques to control stress and make it positive before additional problems surface.

  • Customer Service: Telephone Courtesy
Student, staff and faculty loyalties can be crushed or created over the phone lines. This program demonstrates courteous and effective telephone techniques to ensure that your clients and peers receive the information they want with a smile in your voice and accurate, efficient responses!

  • Workplace Violence: The Calm Before the Storm
In one year alone, workplace violence accounted for one out of five work-related deaths in the U.S. This program is designed to help supervisors and employees identify the warning signs of workplace violence and prevent it.

  • More Than a Gut Feeling
Thousands of interviewers worldwide have hired top-performing employees by applying Dr. Paul Green's ever-reliable behavioral approach to interviewing, as shown in this program! His time-honored method teaches hiring staffs to simply uncover a job applicant's past work behavior because it is the best indicator to his or her future work behavior.

Using all of the proven 'More Than A Gut Feeling' techniques, you'll gain confidence that you're hiring the best candidate for the job! The program covers:

  • Planning a logical, structured interview

  • Using interviewing techniques for interviewer control
  • Making selection decisions based on facts not on gut feeling
  • Recognizing illegal interview questions
  • The Sid Story
This training program, featuring Dennis Franz, star of NYPD Blue, dramatizes the story of a manager who learns the value of feedback. It shows how positive reinforcement can enable managers and supervisors to motivate even the most difficult employees to do their best.

  • Communication Cornerstones: Building Trust
Learn how to be a more effective manager with this program. Using a unique comparison between good and bad management styles, this program is certain to captivate you and improve your knowledge! Each vignette demonstrates the most effective way to manage, as well as the negative results of managing poorly.

The trust that employees have for their managers is directly affected by the communication styles that managers use. 'Communication Cornerstones: Building Trust' will help you with your communication skills so you can build the trust of employees and keep it at a good level.

It covers how to:
