Q1:  What is the MyMathLab Student Help Line Number?

Q2:  I've never used MyMathLab before.  How do I get registered?  

Q3:  I've used MyMathLab before, but I need to enroll in a new course I've not previously taken.

Q4a:  I've used MyMathLab before, but I need to repeat a course I've previously taken.

Q4b:  I've used MyMathLab before, but I need to transfer to a new section of a course I'm currently taking.

Q5:  I've used MyMathLab before, but I cannot remember my Login Name or Password.

 

Q1:  What is the MyMathLab Student Help Line Number?

A1.  The MyMathLab Student Help number is:

1-800-677-6337
Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM Central time (US and Canada)
Sunday, 4 PM to 11 PM Central time (US and Canada)

Q2:  I've never used MyMathLab before.  How do I get registered?

A2:  New Students or those who do NOT have a MyMathLab Login Name

     1.  Before you begin you need to have the following items: 

·         A Valid Email Address  Don't have it yet? Set up a free account on a web site that offers this service (for example, through Hotmail or Yahoo). 

·         Course ID
The course ID, which is unique for each course and section.
 

You must get the course ID from your instructor!   

·         Student Access Code            Don't have it yet?
If your new textbook was not bundled with a Student Access Code, you need to go to your campus bookstore to purchase a Student Access Kit for this course. 
      

     2.  On an Internet-connected computer, click on the Internet Explorer icon.

          

3.  Enter this URL:  http://students.pearsoned.com/   and click Enter.

4.  On the next screen, choose: Register.

5.  On the next screen, click: Next.

6.  Enter your access code.  It is normally pasted on the inside cover of your textbook.

      Open your student access code card by peeling back the strip to find your access code.

            You can type the letters in lowercase or uppercase (example below).

7.  Enter School Zip Code as 75074.

     Enter School Country as United States.  Click: Next.

8.  On the next screen, enter your course ID.  (Provided by Instructor - see above).  Click: Next.

9.  Complete the information on this page.  Please use your email address as your Login Name, and an easy to remember Password, such as the last 4 digits of your social security number.  For School Name, please select COLLIN COUNTY CC-SPR CRK, regardless of your campus location.  Click: Next.

10. That’s it!  You are now enrolled.  Login and explore your Course Compass Course.  For future sessions, return to  www.students.pearsoned.com, choose “Log In”.  When you enter the site, click on the name of your course to access your material.

11. If you want to use MyMathLab from home, be sure to use the MyMathLab Installation Wizard (accessible from the “Getting Started” page) after you login the first time from home.

Q3:  I've used MyMathLab before, but I need to enroll in a new course I've not previously taken.  

A3:  I'm a Math 0302 student who has successfully completed Math 0300.

        I'm a Math 0305 student who has successfully completed Math 0302.

        I'm a Math 0310 student who has successfully completed Math 0305.

A3-1.  Students new to Math 0302 or Math 0305

        1)  Choose: Register.

        2)  On the next screen, click: Next.

        3)  Select “Yes, Look Me Up” and enter your Login Name and Password.

        4)  Enter your access code.  It is normally in a pull-off tab on the inside textbook cover.

5)  Enter School Zip Code as 75074.

8)  On the next screen, verify the information on this page.  Re-enter your Password.  Click: Next.

9)  That’s it!  You are now enrolled in the new course!  You will remain enrolled in your other course, so be sure to always select the correct one!

10)  If you want to use MyMathLab from home, be sure to use the MyMathLab Installation Wizard (accessible from the “Getting Started” page) after you login the first time from home.

Q4  Transferring, Repeating, or Math 0310 Students coming from Math 0305

A4:   Please follow these instructions:

1.  Before you begin you need to have the following items: 

·         Your Valid MyMathLab Login Name & Password.

·         Course ID for your new course (provided by your instructor).

     2.  On an Internet-connected computer, enter:  http://students.pearsoned.com/

3.  On the next screen, choose: Log In.

4.  On the next screen, enter your Login Name and Password.  Click “Login

5.  On the next screen, on left side click the button:  Enroll in a New Course.

6.  On the next screen, click: Continue.

7.  On the next screen, re-enter your Password.  Click:  Log In.

8.  On the next screen, scroll down and click on the yellow button:  Enroll in a New Course.

9.  On the next screen, enter your course ID.  (Provided by Instructor - see above).  Click: Next.

10.  On the next screen, click: Next.  You are now enrolled in the new course!  You will remain enrolled in your other course, so be sure to always select the correct one!

11.  If you want to use MyMathLab from home, be sure to use the MyMathLab Installation Wizard (accessible from the “Getting Started” page) after you login the first time from home.
